RX 30 is a pharmacy management software system with a strong record keeping component.

Introduction

Through the Lifeline program, RX 30 users have full time direct internet connection between their pharmacy and the corporate office in Orlando, FL. This allows for services such as online claim adjudication, daily drug file up and immediate access to the drug database First Databank and to the National Doctor NPI/DEA database. However, Rx 30's Lifeline does not store a pharmacy’s prescription data. The user pharmacy does not access its data through Lifeline. Pharmacy data remains in the individual store, residing in the Rx 30 server.

RX 30 is a product of Transaction Data Systems (TDS) in Ocoee, FL. TDS was founded in 1977. The first products of TDS served the airline reservation and automated bank teller industries. In 1980 TDS developed the RX 30 system. Originally designed for an individual, independent retail pharmacy; RX 30 now has modules available to support multiple store locations (Central Site), long-term care and hospice application (Nursing Home package) and intravenous orders. RX 30 is now used in over 2700 pharmacies. Founders Warren Wubker and Steve Wubker remain active as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President respectively. Charlie Hall and Richard Jones maintain their early involvement with the company as members of the present Board of Directors
