Hi, I'm Umme Rumana, you can call me Umme (o͝o-mĕ). I am pursuing Master's in Biomedical Informatics Research Track. This is my first semester in UT-HSC at Houston.

Currently, I'm a Professional Trainee at UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center. My major is in Medicine and Clinical Research. I have a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from India. Up until this point, I schooled my brain in life sciences. Now I decided to learn something new and challenging not only to advance my cognition and decision-making skills on a personal level, but also to improve the patient care on a professional level.

I am interested in healthcare, data technology, and research. I believe that pursuing a career in Clinical Informatics can help me integrate these modules.
