Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) is a nonprofit foundation established in 2004. In 2006 CCHIT began to certify electronic health record technology. Now more than 200 EHR products are certified by CCHIT. Some of those are:
- Ambulatory EHR
- Emergency Department EHR
- Enterprise EHR
- Inpatient EHR
- Stark and Anti-Kickback Exemption
