They have feature on their called E-prescription which the doctor types in prescription using the application which reduces time and errors. In 2001-2002, a group of IT and medical professionals, lead by Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara, submitted a proposal to the Thailand Research Fund to fund Hospital OS for 17 month of development [4]. Since 2005, Hospital OS has been implemented in 43 hospitals in Thailand [5].
