== Introduction ==

== Methods ==
Focus groups in different practice settings were implemented with 8 physicians, 1 physician assistant, and 18 clinic staff. Focus groups were organized by using a semi-structured discussion guide intended to identify factors that prevent the implementation of a “Web-based decision aid” aimed to trigger shared decision making at the point of care as well as setting patients’ preferences regarding colorectal cancer screening. 
 
== Results==
The majority of clinicians and staff participants believed that a “Web-based interactive decision aid” could be an informative and educational tool for patients.  However, clinicians from one clinic reported a preference for patients having fewer screening choices. The reported perceived barriers for the implementation of the Web-based decision aid were: low literacy in patients, lack of interest and disrupted workflow.

== Conclusion ==
With the implementations of a “Web-based interactive decision aid” patients would be well informed about the pros and cons of different CRC screening options. In addition, the use of this tool could also increase the sophistication of dialogue between patients and clinicians.
