Praxis is a template-free EMR developed by Infor-Med Corporation, a company that was established in 1989. The EMR has the ability to interface with all quality Health IT systems and software. Rather than rely on templates, Praxis EMR utilizes an artificial intelligence engine (called a concept processor) that learns from each user. Praxis EMR was developed based on the premise that medicine is an art where no two doctors practice medicine the same way. The developers believe every doctor brings a unique and personal touch to the way a patient is treated. With this in mind, Praxis EMR was fully customized to meet the physician's individual needs. Many small and mid-sized clinics use this EMR system. For more over 20 years, more than 5000 physician-users in the United States, Canada, and world-wide have been using Praxis EMR.
