Currently working as associate professor at International Institute of Health Management Research Delhi. Hold a PhD from Dept of Physical Chemistry University of Madras and post doctoral research experiences from dept of Civil Eng. IIT, Madras and Lab of Membrane Biophysics & Biochemistry, NIAAA, NIH, Rockville, USA. I have been awarded UGC – CSIR fellowships for her junior, senior and postdoctoral fellowships. I have various academic degrees from reputed organizations during my past 17 years of professional experience related to Management, IT, Bioinformatics and Health Informatics. I have guided many student research projects related to bioinformatics and healthcare information technology for their postgraduate and MPhil degrees. My professional experience includes academic teaching, coordination, research activities in the area of healthcare informatics. My professional experience also includes a short span of corporate (software) experience as a requirement analyst and product manager designing and implementing bio and medical related software. My research interests includes public health informatics, development and evaluation of HIMS, health data analytics for information retrieval, healthcare data management and utilization of tools in health research for risk prediction, disease modelling, social network analysis and health promotion through mobile technology.
