My name is Andrea Espinosa, I am a health informatics masters student at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I completed my BS in Biology at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. I am currently working as a Quality Analyst at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital and recently obtained the credentials Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Working as a Quality Analyst has allowed me to abstract data, perform audits, familiarize myself with the EHR, communicate with hospital staff and physicians related to regulatory requirements, and many other opportunities.
