My name is Angela Ethridge, BSN, RN, and I am currently working as a clinical manager at a large teaching hospital. My job includes managing new processes, EMR documentation review, chart audits and EDW reports. Most recently, my work has included meaningful use compliance reviews and preparation for implementation of future meaningful use stages. Included with the EMR is the scheduling manager software which interfaces with the EMR. Although this software has been available for use, the full benefit of its use has not been realized in our area. This is a top priority for our team and will be completed and ready for testing within the next 30-45 days. My nursing background includes nuero and cardiac post surgical recovery ICU, L&D, operations nurse administrator and nurse manager.
