I am a BSN prepared RN with a Master in Public Health, focus in Nursing Administration. I have seventeen years experience working with electronic health records in positions including vendor, trainer, consultant, manager and director of implementation and optimization. I work for Providence Health and Services, where I am director of clinical informatics for a region including a 500 bed hospital and 25 outpatient/ambulatory clinics. I have managed several electronic health record implementations, and am currently focused on optimization efforts, both at the Providence system level and the local regional level. I direct a team of 30 clinical informatics specialists and trainers.
