With training in library information science and clinical/biomedical science, I am a medical librarian at MD Anderson Center to help physicians, other healthcare professionals and researchers to stay abreast of new developments in their specialty areas. I retrieve and synthesize health information to facilitate the clinical guideline development and support the evidence-based practice. Currently, I am also interested in implementation of EPIC in our institution, particularly, the integration of knowledge based clinical information and patient education materials into electronic health record to facilitate clinical decision making and how EHR can improve patient data collection, retrieval and analysis.
