Editor: Vishnu Mohan MD MBI is a clinician-educator and clinical informatician, and Assistant Professor of Medical Informatics, Medicine,and Management at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. He is board certified in clinical informatics and internal medicine, and is interested in how clinicians make decisions with the assistance of (or despite) technology, and how these decisions can influence patient safety. Before joining the faculty at DMICE, Vishnu was Associate Program Director at Legacy Health’s internal medicine training program, and was involved in the design and implementation of a comprehensive electronic health record.


Associate Editor: Neal D. Goldstein PhD MBI holds a master's degree in biomedical informatics from Oregon Health and Science University (Portland, OR), and a doctoral degree in Epidemiology from Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA). Neal's research spans several disciplines including vaccine-preventable infectious diseases, maternal and child health, as well as advanced epidemiological modeling methods. He also possesses a background in biomedical informatics with detailed knowledge of hardware and software in the healthcare domain. Most recently, he focuses on translational epidemiology, or moving from knowledge generation to application and advocacy.
