This is an article review of the article entitled Structural approach to design user interface by Lee, et al 2010 [1]

Introduction

This paper is actually not aimed at clinical applications at all, but at design of e-business web-based enterprise information portals. The same concepts, however, should be able to be applied to design of EMR interface. The authors scientficially analyze how requirements for user interface are developed.

  • Analyzing the interaction of components

3 phases: Requirement analysis, component design and component interaction analysis.
