Yuanye Lu has been a medical coder for 4 years. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Communication in 2008 and obtained the Certified Coding Specialist-Physician Based (CCS-P) credential in 2012. She is currently a lead coder at a non-profit behavioral health organization managing a team of coders and assisting providers with EHR documentation issues. Her passion for Health Information Management (HIM) has led her to pursue a graduate certificate in Biomedical Informatics-HIM track from Oregon Health and Science University. She plans to obtain the Registered Health Information Administer (RHIA) credential and become an innovative contributor in the HIM field.
