A virus, also know as a computer virus, is program or piece of code that is loaded onto your computer without your knowledge and runs against your wishes.
It can copy itself and infect a computer without the permission or knowledge of the owner.[1] Computer viruses are spread through internet downloads, most commonly through email attachments. These attachments are meant to entise the user to click on the link that will lead to the download of a funny image, greeting card, or audio and video files, but in truth is actually downloading the virus to their computer system.
