Hello all. My name is Dr. Ravi Janumpally. I am a clinical informatics fellow at Baylor Scott and White Health in Texas. I have a background in preventive medicine and public health and hold a masters in clinical investigation with a focus on population health from University of Mississippi Medical Center. I also hold a master's in health administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. I have a strong interest in the junction of public health and clinical informatics which involves public health reporting from electronic medical records and also in data collection from patient encounters to state and local public health departments. I also have an interest in social determinants of health as it relates to electronic medical records and how that data can be connected to community resources.
